Job title: Assistant Administrator (Training Centre Advisor) – Apprenticeship
Location: City of London
Wage: £14,000 – £16,000
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Verifying the eligibility of learners referred based on robust and approved selection criteria
  • Delivering full apprenticeship inductions
  • Determining the most suitable qualification to enroll learners onto based on pre-defined selection criteria
  • Contacting employers to book in remote induction sessions with apprentices
  • Supporting employers to set up Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) accounts
  • Checking and processing certificates for learner exemptions in line with funding rules
  • Liaising with managers to allocate learners to tutors
  • Use data entry and systems reporting to manage multiple MIS and databases within the organisation
  • Answer the telephone professionally and provide information, advice and guidance wherever possible

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Recent experience in a similar or customer service focused role
  • Competent in Maths & English (GSCE Grade C or above)
  • Computer literate
  • A proactive and strong team player
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
