About the role:

With over 25 years’ experience of working with leading managing agents and property owners as well as major retailers, local authorities and other commercial occupiers across the UK. My client provides risk assessments, essential testing and maintenance routines and training to help ensure their clients are compliant with fire, health and safety legislation. They are currently looking for someone to provide administrative support to the maintenance team, ensuring good customer service to clients, contractors and colleagues.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Maintenance team as required, including dealing with customer and contractor queries by phone letter and email
  • Ensure contractors have all the information necessary before they get to site to carry out consultancy services and answer any non-technical queries
  • Updating client systems to ensure all reports are uploaded within agreed timescales
  • Deal professionally with general enquiries according to team procedures, and refer technical issues to coordinator or manager
  • Cooperate effectively with colleagues at all times and offer to support them in their tasks in times of peak demand

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Confident telephone manner
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Good level of written grammar
  • Intermediate MS Office skills especially Outlook
  • Proactive and use own initiative
  • Team player
