Wage: £12,500 per annum

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week

Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 8 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Processing new starters – preparing paperwork and scanning relevant forms and documentation onto main drive and inputting information onto the personnel database
  • Organise an induction for all new starters – prepare relevant internal forms
  • Input data of new starters onto fob entry system and Security Biometrics system
  • Maintaining entry system – attendance reports and muster reports; who was on site on a daily bases
  • Records of all waste management updated onto waste data software
  • Minute Logistics meeting
  • Creating and editing new documentation
  • Booking in delivery times of all construction goods, equipment and products on ‘Zone Manager’ software and maintain daily delivery log
  • Placing of welfare/consumable orders through Head Office
  • Produce and update Power Point presentation of construction notifications
  • Any Ad Hoc duties as and when required

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Computer literacy and good keyboard skills
  • A good level of English spelling and grammar
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to use your own initiative
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) will be essential in this role
