Introduction to our Safeguarding Team:

Gemma Stansfield: Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

The designated safeguarding lead is the person appointed to take lead responsibility for safeguarding concerns. The DSL will implement and maintain safeguarding procedures and policies, as well as be alerted to safeguarding issues. She has a duty to ensure that all tutors have received appropriate training, that her own training is up to date, safe recruitment practices are sufficient, and all actions are within the best interest of the apprentices.
